Work Experience:

The fundamentals of my skills were picked up during my training in the United States Marine Corps., where the values of team work and maximum effort are paramount. The basic technical skills that were taught to me there was the foundation I used to pursue skills in Information Technology. The hands on experience I get from applying learned technologies to field exercises is invaluable to me.

My time working for Spectrum tested my skills in troubleshooting and relaying highly technical information to customers who may not understand the capabilities of their equipment. I also had the opportunity to experience first hand, the way technical communications take place in the civilian environment. I learned to run physical connections without compromising signal quality, how to identify where in a home network signal degrades, and how to remedy any problems with their service, technical or otherwise, that a customer may face.

I spend time testing the limits and functions of communication technology in simulated environments during my spare time. The field of Information Technology is a relatively newfound passion of mine, and I look forward to expanding my knowledge in positions where I rely on challenging myself to resolve a variety of issues.
